okay! I have wondered this for awhile and thought I'd ask.

So, I will be taking cash, my pass, and my resort ID with me to the parks each day. where should I carry this?

I am thinking there is something I can buy like a Concert Credential holder, that I could wear around my neck.

I'll have a backpack with me, but I definetly want to keep this stuff on my person.

Thanks for any insite and if you have a cool product, link me on it. .I'll buy it up in a second. LOL Thanks!

I use a plastic card holder that is attached to a lanyard that I wear around my neck. I dont want to keep such stuff in my back back. Too easy to lose that way.

I have a little plastic waterproof case that I bought at blizzard beach for like 3 or 4 dollars. it hangs around the neck and seals....works perfect..oh yea, sizewise, it's basically credit card size by about 1/2 thick...

GO TO PASSPORTER.COM THEY HAVE A CARRIER JUST THE RIGHT SIVE FOR YOUR RESORT PASSES, TICKETS, MONEY, ALL OF THE NEAT STUFF YOU NEED THAT HANGS AROUND YOUR NECK. IT ALSO HOLDS A BIG PEN FOR THE CHARACTER SIGNING.

I bought this leather id thing that I wear around my neck.. it carries my license, credit card, AP, and money.. then I stuff my pockets with anything else I need... tissues, lipstick.. etc.. I just walk through security as all I have is that ID holder and my lipstick... teehee

Those who use the lanyard/wallet thing, don't you worry about the security of it? It seems that it would be really easy for it to go flying off, or even worse, get stolen. Someone could just cut the lanyard cord and take off. I'm thinking I'll use a fanny pack with an zipper pocket on the side by the waist. Camera in the front pocket, tickets/ID/money in the hidden zipper pocket. I'm very interested in responses as I'm still looking for a solution.

in a wheelbarrell... :teeth: you'll find me there, walking down main street with a wheelbarrell full of the money that we usually need for a trip...
just kidding...i just put all the cash/cards i need in the wallet and go from there...if we are going to a water park it's another story...
see you soon!!!!

Since I am uncomfortable wearing somthing around my neck I have a small leather wallet with a strap and clip. I clip it to the zipper of my fanny pack and tuck it into the pocket. I have lost things going in and out of the fanny pack so this is one extra protection. With the fast pass I find I am in and out of the pack more than I would like. But I like FP so that's not a compaint really!

The first time I went to Disney as an adult I brought my wallet and out it in my backpack (diaperbag really). It worked great until I left my backpack on a bench:eek: and continued on my merry way with out it. I totally freaked out when I realized what I had done. Everything was in there, the baby's food & formula, diapers, cash, credit cards, ID's, park ticket, etc. Luckily a CM found my bag and I got it back very quickly.

After that I bought a fanny pack. I can shove in all my tickets, cash, a snack, rain ponchos, the camera and have it all at my fingertips. It has worked great for me.

I absolutely love using a "waist-pack"..."fanny-pack" or whatever you want to call them. It is absolutely so secure...you know it's there yet it doesn't get in your way....plus the bonus of being able to throw some extra stuff along with the important things.

Good luck....we had a wonderful 10 days early December.

I just have to laugh..

FYI to all the MEN.. Us women.. we can't just put a wallet in our pocket. We CURVE too much! LOL

Thanks for all the ideas.. .I like what Passporter.com has. I just don't know about a fanny pack. As a child of the 70s / 80s parents were such geeks (nothing personal to anyone) who wore them. Am I really one of those now? sniff sniff. LOL

:teeth: Again.. thanks so much for the ideas. Maybe it is time for this geek parent to get a FP.

fanny packs are cool now!!! At disney, the number 1 rule is comfort...we won't think you're a geek....promise!

on you room card and that is all you need to carry.

i just carried them in a backback together with my water bottle, wallet, camera, etc..

I've done different things and this year I'm doing something different again. I've had important stuff like that in ziploc bags in my backpack--too hard to locate when I need them. I've had them in a wallet in my backpack--too bulky. This year I bought a DIS water wallet and I'm going to try that. My goal this time is to get a LOCKER and not carry so much stuff with me!!! What a PAIN that is!!!!

P.S. Tag Fairy--Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! Still clappin' and still believin'!!!!

I have a small purse with a large strap. I hang it on my shoulder across my chest. It has alot of little pockets to put my money, passes and its just large enough to hold my camera. Its really handy. Of course you might look a little silly carrying a purse if you are a man. Your wife could carry it?? Or use a fanny pack. Have fun at disney.

I love my fanny pack! OK, I admit I'd never, ever wear one in the "real" world. I agree - how geeky can you get? But we're talking Disney, and that's a whole other story! The fanny pack stays out of your way, you forget it's even there, but your stuff is secure and close at hand. And you'd notice if it suddenly fell off or was taken.

My DH and I each wear a fanny pack at WDW (he wouldn't be caught dead in one anywhere else either!!). He keeps the camera, a room key and half the money. I keep the maps, a room key, the passes and half the money. It works really well for us. We keep the passes in a zipper compartment all their own. Same with the cash - nothing else in that compartment. Odds and ends like combs, sunscreen sticks, antibacterial wipes, moleskin, etc. go in the big compartment with the camera or maps - we divide this stuff up.

I have a navy blue fanny pack, and on our last trip I tied lime green yarn to all the zippers. I wasn't approached by any DISer's :( but I thought it looked really cute so I'm gonna do the same thing next trip. Who knows, maybe a DISer will see me this time and come up to say "Hi!"

I bought the little thingee from Passporter.com for last time and it worked out wonderfully. There is definitely room for everything you mentioned, plus a great little see-thru window to stick your fastpasses. I never worried about it flying off on a ride- and I went on all of the fast ones- no problems at all. I stuck a lime green Mickey head (from Home Depot) in the clear pocket and I guess I ran into no DIS'ers....:(
