How do you carry your larger camera?

I am wondering what everyone does with cameras that are larger in size, ones that won't fit into your pockets or a fanny pack. I'm trying to stay away from carrying a backpack or sling bag, but unsure of what to do with the camera. Has anyone found a reasonably priced waist pack that would fit their camera along with other items?

I bought a Samsonite Fanny Pack that was made for cameras. I can actually stuff my camcorder and camera in there (tight fit though--). It is pretty comfortable and has zipper pockets for money, etc. I bought it at a camera store for around $40. HTH!

You might want to check at Walmart in the purse and wallet section. We bought our fanny packs there for $5. They had larger and smaller ones between about $3-$8. Ours fits a normal sized camera and two glasses cases or it can fit two 1/2 liter bottles of water, plus a few odds and ends. If you had nothing else in there, it could probably fit a larger camera.

One tip though, you might want to also make sure you have a zip lock bag big enough to put your camera in and then put it back in the fanny pack. We did that for all the water rides, worked great.
