How do you carry goodies in the park?

Hello!
When we went to Disney for our first trip we brought our BOB Dualie for our then 2 and 5 year old. It was AWESOME! Both girls got tired and would jump in and out of the stroller, we brought a cooler into the park every day with snacks (which saved a lot of money) and a backpack, too. Everything went right into the bottom of the stroller, we didn't have to carry anything. We are hoping to go back to Disney next year with a 4 year old and a 7 year old. I know the four year old will still need a stroller when she gets tired but I think the 7 year old might like to catch a ride every once and a while, too. Is it crazy to bring a double? Can you rent a single BOB stroller? Any idea how much?
Thanks!

I'd go for a single. I'm thinking that on the occasion that the 7 year old wants a break, the 4 year old (if anything like mine) will want to be out and about. They could easily switch off if needed. I know for sure I was never in a stroller when I want at the age of 6. I don't remember if I was in one at all at age 4. I remember being there along with a couple of hazy details. I don't know what kind of strollers they rent at WDW, but they do rent doubles and singles. I feel like I read somewhere that a single is around $18-$20/day but don't quote me on that.

Thank you! I think you are probably right that they could most likely switch off when needed. I'll look into kingdom strollers to see what they have available.
I do OWN a double and we are nearing the end if its use. I'd almost rather bring the double and have it break down on us than to rent a single.... Hmmmm

We also have a BOB single but it's a running model and doesn't turn very well, you kind of have to lift up on it to turn it. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of stroller?

I would personally bring your own BOB double, rather than renting one. After all, you already own it, so it's basically free...and like you said, it's nearing the end of its lifespan anyway. You might be surprised at how often your 7 year old hitches a ride, and you can load it up with your cooler, backpack, etc. I know I wouldn't be able to fit both of those items in my BOB single. I wouldn't bring the BOB that doesn't have a swiveling front wheel. I saw someone with one of those at the parks, and they were really struggling with getting through the crowds.

I know some people have strong opinions about kids age and strollers. I know my girls, though and I know my oldest will want to ride along if the younger one is. The last time we went it was a god send! I never remember being bogged down by it and if we plan a short outing somewhere than we could always leave it at the resort.
Thanks

I'd go ahead and get one last trip out of the one you own and not have to pay to rent a single. Im sure they could share if they needed to but you know the double works well so I would use it and spend that money on something else.

I like getting my money's worth!
