I've read about people getting Q& C vouchers from Hotwire...how do you find these vouchers...I can't figure out where

Did you join hotwires membership first? thats what you have to do in order to see the vouchers.

After you join Hotwire, you will be able to purchase the vouchers. I signed up, bought the vouchers, which arrived within 1 week. I then called in and cancelled my membership. I was honest with them and told them that I wanted to try the vouchers out first, before I continued my membership. Since I haven't used them before, I just bought 3 for now, which I will use on my next trip. Once I see if they are worth it or not, then I will look at joining.

 join Hotwire, a lot of people cancel after ordering, but i didn't because there are still good discounts you can use through the year. disneykid::yes::

Why is Mary Waring so down on this site? I've been nervous to try it because of that - have any of you that belong had problems with them?

I just came back and my experience with Hotwire and the vouchers was great!! They came right away, and were no trouble to use. I really don't think they are that great of a deal however, except at Beaches and Cream!! Everywhere else, we only saved a dollar or two...but who's complaining about saving money? The best part was that when I signed up, they were offering a $10.00 rebate off of your first purchase. I signed up, got the vouchers, cancelled my membership, then got my $10.00 rebate in the mail on the day before I left for my trip. I did feel a little bit bad though for using Hotwire in this manner, so I probably won't do it again:cool:

No problems here so far. I have ordered several different things from Hotwire savings. Good service and great prices.

I'll let you know in a couple of weeks if I save any money at WDW.

We have used the vouchers on two previous trips and plan on using them for two upcoming trips. We always saved when using them. Sometimes it was only a few dollars, but that was ok with us. Also it was nice to have everything pre-paid. We have kept our Hotwire membership, as we have bought several other gift cards for various occasions. We have never had a problem with them. I have had to return items to them on two occasions and the money has been promptly refunded back to me. I also like the fact that it is kind of a pay as you go thing (pay each month)

I just noticed that nobody answered your question, Disney Debbie! Sorry that I didn't see it earlier.

Check the links that Mary has on her website regarding consumer complaints and MWI (the parent company of Connections, Simple Escapes and Hotwire Savings Club).

Here's the Mousesaver page that they're on.
MouseSavers - Disney World Meal Vouchers

The section about MWI is about ½ way down the page.

Thank's ya'll! Better late then never!!:p

I think I'm going to give it a try. I haven't seen any negatives from the folks here.

We bought our 6 day park hopper plus tickets through them also and they were about $6 cheaper than the military rate you get at SOG or local MWR.

How does the $10 rebate work. I signed up yesterday and ordered 10 vouchers for our April trip. I saw the $10 rebate but wasn't sure how it worked.

There is a link on the hotwire website to the $10 rebate info. You have to print the info page, and print out your order confirmation page, and mail them to hotwire. I just did this, so I haven't received my rebate yet.

In response to the original post, i kept getting a blank screen when I tried to order meal vouchers, so I called the toll free number and ordered them by phone. They arrived within a few days.

georgina described it correctly - it took about a month to get the rebate, but the vouchers came in a few days. Good luck with them:cool:

To add a little protection in for the double billing etc that Connections is known for I used virtual CC numbers. Several Credit card companies are offering this and the number can only be used one time (except for credits which I've also had done). Really a good way to purchase things from companies that you're not 100% confident with.

Please explain! I've never heard of this! How do you do it?

I joined Hotwire in Jan. with every intention on cancelling after I purchased all of my Q & C vouchers. I am still a member. I really like the way they do business. As stated before, it is a month to month membership, so at any time I can cancel. When I bought our Park Hoppers from them, I felt this was the best price I could find. When I checked my credit card account there was a credit of $7.20 on there, when I called to see if it a mistake I was told that was a cash back bonus I got on my Park tickets. WOW even a better deal! The rebate check took about 2 weeks after I sent it in to get back. As for the page being blank, that has happened to me also. If you have a firewall running you can't recieve any infomation. You have to disable your firewall before you can get to the Q&C information. Hope this helps! :earsgirl:

Thanks! For an intelligent person, I feel bad knowing so little about our computer. I tell DH, if anything ever happens to him, I'll be in serious computer trouble. (Actually my dd, 13, knows more about it than I do.) I did OK ordering the vouchers over the phone, and don't need any more, so I'm not worrying about firewalls for now, but it's good to know.

I may end up staying a member of hotwire at least for a little while, as I ordered a bunch of gift cards too. How long does it take to get the credits back for the purchases?

Hi everyone,

I have to say that I had a very good experience with HWSC. I bought 4 PHP plus breakfast and Q&C vouchers with absolutely no problem. They arrived quickly and safely and I wasn't double billed. I did receive the cashback ($7.80) for buying the PHP which made them even more of a deal for me. Now I know that some people have been buying "convention" PHPs that may be cheaper, but I really wanted to get one with days that do not expire. DH and I always seem to come back with one day unused and we don't travel to WDW each year. So I would recommend the company. I plan on reactivating my account closer to christmas to buy giftcards for friends and family. HTH
