How do you bring your itinerary, maps?

Love all the great ideas!!! And seeing everyone's plans!

I just bought a quick phone charger for my next trip. It wasn't that expensive, you charge it up and when your phone is low you attach it and it charges the phone up in minutes.

My last trip the teens wanted to do some thing on their own so I needed to have my phone charged.

Although, I carry a paper version, I use the phone to keep track of the kids....make extra FP+ reservations after we use the first 3. I also use the phone to track which rides that are temporarily closed for some reason or another so we don't cross the park and find out when we get there.

Good luck!

I'm planning to have a few notes on a index card- just the park hours, any ADRs and FPs and anything else special to note. Easy to slip into my bag and I'll have my iPod for MDE.

Thanks for a bunch of great ideas! Compared to some of the uber planners and organizers out there, this first timer is pretty basic. I think the notecards and mini maps with numbers will work for me. I'll get started soon!! 55 days!

I write my info onto 3x5 index cards for each day. I usually start with park hours, fireworks times, ADR's and then a list of things I want to do in each park. It fits in my pocket easily.

I used to put together a touring plan on them too but I've stopped doing that.

I printed my itinerary and purchased a very flexible clear folder with a pocket on either side. We went for 10 days so in the front folder I faced the first five days forward and then the last 5 days in the other pocket facing the back so that when it was closed I could view the first five day itinerary on the front and then flip it and see the last 5 days.

Then in the middle I put all my other papers I might want with me. It worked really well and kept everything very organized and dry. The year before I brought just papers and of course went on Splash and got everything wet, LOL. :goodvibes

first time i went in 2011, i made a little notebook out of a report cover and had different sections in it for itinerary/touring plans, restaturant menus, and miscellaneous information. That i kept in the room to review each night/morning. For in the parks, i printed out my touring plans with ADRs on 4x6 cards. That i kept in my pocket to refer to then tossed at the end of the day.

even though now i have a smartphone, i'm thinking i might still do the same thing when i go this summer. i'm worried about having to charge my phone. i'll still bring it along for the MDE app and all, but i don't want to drain the battery all day using it!
