How do you book the Marriott's Timeshares (Sabal Palms or Horizons)?

We stayed at MWCO last year and thought it was amazing!! Especially the main pool area.

We're starting to plan a trip for next year with my parents, dd 7 and ds 6 and thought it would be really nice to have a larger living area. So we thought staying at the Sabal Palms or Horizons. But, which is the best way to get the best price? Going through an owner, Marriott directly or a web-site like hotels.com expedia etc...

go to www.marriott.com and do a search for Orlando. Lots of hotels will come up including the Palms.

If you will be staying for a week, with check-in on a Fri/Sat/Sun, consider renting a week from an owner. There's no daily housekeeping service when you rent weekly but it would be far less expensive. One location where you may find owner rental ads is the TUG Classifieds. Inventory changes regularly as owners list their weeks. HTH.

Hi - One other suggestion is to sign up for Marriott Rewards. (It's free) They will give you a membership number which entitles you to member specials. If you visit VACATIONCLUB.com and click on rentals, it will bring you to any specials they have running. We stayed at the Grande Vista which is beautiful and in a great location. You take a left out of the parking lot, go about 3 miles and make a right and it will bring you right to the Disney gate. IT is also less than 5 minutes to SeaWorld.

For what it's worth, my rate for this November on the Marriott Rewards rate is $137/night at Sabal Palms. That might help give a comparison. It was the best rate I found so far.
