How do you book a second Palo dinner if you've booked one online?

If you've booked a dinner Palo reservation online but you'd like to reserve a second dinner, how and when do you do it?

Technically, you don't. Each cabin is limited to one advanced reservation for Palo.

People do things like--if you are travelling with friends, have each cabin book a ressie for 4. The other thing you can do is to go to the place where they are doing Palo ressies after you board and ask to be placed on the waiting list for a second dinner. Call them each evening when the restaurant opens and ask them if they have any openings. People do cancel, and they might get you in--they got me in!

I spoke with someone today when they called to change our brunch. She told me you can try to book a second time slot when you board. You will be directed to where they are taking reservations.

If someone knows if you can book a second time before boarding, I would love to know so we can do it.... I'm hoping that with 14 days on board we can go twice!

I know you can't book twice online. I just figured that when you boarded they wouldn't let you book a second dinner right away to be fair to those who couldn't book their first online. I thought maybe you could go by Palo or something like that to get on a wait list or something.

We go in about 5 weeks. I will try to see if you can get a second ressie when you get onboard. I highly doubt you can. But I will try. I would love to go on our first and last nights. Oh the whole reason I wished we had the cat 3 or above.................

I've read on here people being able to go more then once. Some walked up and asked while others were put on a waitlisting in case someone cancelled.
I've also read that it's not very full on the first night. I would at least try to when you board or even go by Palo one evening to see if you can eat there.

I booked 60 days out and the only palo left was the first night at 8:30! ,so I grabbed it. We have to get that Palo fix!! :goodvibes
We are hoping to get a brunch ressie when we board though, if not we will wait list.

Okay, maybe I misunderstood. I thought if you book REAS, you could book once under that and another time separately as if it was your online booking.

Is that wrong?

It is my understanding that each cabin can have only one reservation for each type of Palo serving made in ADVANCE. By that, I mean one dinner, one brunch, one tea. You can sometimes get a second ressie after you board.

The only way that I know to get more than one prior to booking is to have 2 cabin numbers and have each cabin make a ressie.

Not all of the ressies are placed on the internet. Some are held back for the concierge staff--if concierge level guests don't fill all of these, they are then released to the rest of us. It has been reported (but I can't confirm) that some additional ressies are held back till after boarding in case some people didn't know about making internet ressies or whatever.

You can only book one either on-line prior to leaving or your first one during that initial booking period once on board. You can't go during that initial booking period and book a second one. They like to wait until after that initial booking period to give everyone a chance to book first before taking second bookings. If you go up to Palo during dinner the first night, you can probably get a second booking at this time. Or be put on the waitlist to be called for a second booking.

They do not let you book a second time slot when you board. We know this first hand. You can be put on the waiting list.

You can't book a second. I can tell you, on the 14 night..the food in the dining rooms is so outstanding you won't want a second night at Palo.

You are wrong. Sorry. I wish it was this way too. But it is not.

We are thinking about changing our 4 day in 2006 to a 7 day and if we do we are going to get two staterooms. I had not thought of the fact this way I can get two Palo's ressies. Way cool.

Who Said Palo !!!!

We ended up dining at Palo 3 times for Dinner...
Also gave one away!!! to a Couple who could only get in once..

Made res. online.
Stopped by one night they said sure...Come on in.

And another with a party onboard that they made res.and we were part of.

Another way is to find out who is not going to use the palo Reservations online.
Have them make one and just show up as them..
then just tell server, friends gave it to you.. We had a couple that was not using them and made one anyways Gave it to us..

Also had Brunch 3 times as well..
One we made res on line, the other was the Group reservation .
and the other was with another couple..part of there reservation..

Seems people could not get tables for 2 when this system came out ...
but could get tables for 4 and asked who wanted to go with them we volenteered !!!

Oh and Lets not forget High Tea.. only did it once but could have done it several times.. Was the Dis Group high Tea..

You will find alot of people with Reservations Asking others to join...

Check with Other Fool's

Stop by often is a good suggestion..
This was on the May Repo..
