How do you access the DISboards?

When you check the boards, how do you normally access them? When I am on, 99% of the time I click "new posts" and scroll through to see anything interesting I want to read.

Curious how others approach it.

Most of the time I just click on the Community Board to read/post. I haven't spent much time on the other forums.

Same. New posts and then look for anything with under 10 posts (since those are the truly newest posts, as opposed to older posts with new comments).

This is me, too. I'll occassionally check out the dining forum, but not as much any more.

I go to the Community Board first and view new posts and other posts I’m interested in. I always start with @slo daily poll first. Then I check the Budget Board for anything new.

Yep. My occasional ones are the Canadian Trip Planning Board and the Royal Caribbean Board with a very rare look into the Disneyland/California Boards.

A link to watched threads is in my phone and PC caches. I start to type dis... and that link is there. I go to watched threads (most on the cb) and from there I am 'home'.

I’ve been on the disboards for years, but I don’t know how to access watched threads. Can someone give me that information please?

I usually have numbers in my Alerts, so I go there first. If there are no numbers there, I go to the Community Board to see what’s on there. If there’s nothing new, then I go to New Posts - that’s generally how I wind up on other sub-forums in the middle of the night if I can’t sleep, lol.

I have 3 forums I check, scroll through for all three for posts that look interesting, read those. Then check any Alerts I have.

My iPad automatically goes to watched threads, and my phone to the community board. Sometimes I'll use the drop-down menu to go to threads I've started.

If you are on a phone or tablet, there should be three lines in the upper right corner. Click there, and you should see this menu:



Then you can click on watched threads.

When I'm on the PC, "watched" shows up as a button across the top, so it's one less step.

I check the Community Board first (sometimes several times a day when I need a distraction from grading lab reports). I also regularly check out the Disney Resorts and Disney Restaurants boards, and occasionally TPAS. Rarely check Transportation and Budget Boards, but I do check them when I am seriously procrastinating over grading!

Very rarely do I go to anywhere else - they are just not my people - LOL!

Depends on whether I have a trip coming up soon.

If so, I may start on a board based on where I am in my trip planning, like resorts or dining, before heading to the Community Board.

If not, I primarily hang out on the Community Board and have a direct link to it set up on my tablet.

I start at the top and check out each forum that interests me, depending on what kind of trip I am planning at the time. I always hit the Canadian section and check out what's new there.
