How do we think crowds will be influenced by new 2024 Jollywood Nights hours?

This year JN starts at 7:30, with ticket holders allowed admission at 6:00. Assuming the park will close to day guests at 7….. this is an hour earlier than last year’s and 2 hours earlier than usual park close at that time of year (9:00).

My understanding is that last year's event didn’t have much of an impact on attendance, but wondering how this year’s will affect attendance at HS (and everywhere else for that matter).

It tends to run opposite of MVMCP.

I feel like zigging while others are zagging is going to become an art form!!

What do y’all think?

Thanks!!

I am wondering about this too. One of our days we were planning on HS is now a Jollywood night... so not sure if we should change days or keep this day. If we keep the day I hope it will be less crowded since the hours are cut short... but if it will be just as crowded then I would want to switch the days.

I would anticipate IF the park closes to day guests at 7PM (it appears to be an unknown closing time right now) that it would discourage some guests from visiting DHS on party nights. Although we won’t really know for sure until the parties begin, I would anticipate the earlier closing will cause some guests to visit other parks, in a similar way that guests stay away from MK on party days.

Thinking the same thing. Ok- avoid world showcase on weekends, and consider days at HS and MK on party days unless we want to see night time shows then flip that in reverse. Easy peasy! 😵‍💫 😂
