We're going to FL next Feb and we won't be visiting WDW this trip (hopefully next year:worship:). However we will be close enough to take the kids for the day to DTD and thought we'd like to visit Beaches and Cream for a treat. We didn't make it there this year and we'd really like to try it. Can we drive to the Boardwalk and park there and eat? The kids are trying to talk us into the Kitchen Sink, but that seems like an awful lot of ice cream. Of course I could be a really fun mom and allow it for their lunch.

Beaches and Cream is at the Yacht Club. If you have a reservation you can park there for that time, simply tel the guard the you have a ressie and they should give you a parking pass for a couple of hours.

Beaches and Cream is at the Beach Club, not the Yacht Club (they are both connected, but for parking purposes, you want the Beach Club). And they don't take reservations, but the guard will still let you in (maybe with a 3 hr parking pass) if you tell them that's where you're going. Enjoy your Kitchen Sink!

You can park for free at Fantasia mini-golf course for free :rolleyes1 and walk through the Dolphin and the Swan and either take the boat or walk to Beach Club.

No need to do all that walking, parking is free at the Beach Club and all other Disney-owned resorts. :)

Actually, Beaches and Cream is equally shared between the Yacht Club and Beach Club resorts. You can walk through either lobby, out the doors to the Stormalong Bay pool entrance area to get there.

Parking at Yacht Club might be easier because there's DVC parking to contend with at Beach Club. The guard should give you a 3 hour parking pass when you tell him/her you're eating at Beaches and Cream.
