how do u use the plan?

We used the plan last April and will be using it again in May of this year. I personally really like the idea that everything is pretty much pre-paid. We mixed up all our meals, some TS for breakfast, 1 for lunch and the rest dinners. We skipped breakfast other days and did CS for some dinners. We will be using the same kind of plan next month. Some days maybe a TS breakfast and a TS dinner. Other days have CS for lunch a dinner its all mixed up.

Its very flexable, we do plan however and have our ADR's. Even still these are not set in stone, we did actually call and switch one last year to make our day work better.

Good luck with your trip and Happy Planning:)

The first time we had the DDP we thought that it was WAAAY too much food for us. We used the snack credits for breakfast, since we usually only eat toast or cereal we thought that was a good idea. We had CS for lunch and used the TS for dinner. There was one day we reversed it and used the TS for breakfast and the CS for dinner.

Afterwards we thought it might work out better to have a late breakfast using the CS and then an earlyish dinner with the TS. Then just use the snack in between. So that's the plan for this year.

i agree with everyone else. MIX IT UP! you dont have to eat TS for dinner or DS for lunch. find out the park hours for your trip and then go from there. obviously if youre going during the free dining time, its kinda hard to get all the ADR's you want ... so just go with the flow ... decide what restaurants you want and find out what times are available.

We are boring. For our DDP portion of our trip I have all Table Services for dinner and CS for lunch.

We are going to mix it up...however, we are people who normally eat a small breakfast, small lunch and big dinner...but we are on vacation...

I don't have my chart here, but it is something like this...

arrival day...dinner OOP at T-Rex

day 2 breakfast snacks in hotel room, CS lunch, TS dinner

day 3 TS brunch, late lunch/early dinner

day 4 TS breakfast, CS lunch, CS dinner

day 5 CS lunch, TS dinner

day 6 CS lunch, TS dinner

day 7 CS lunch, TS dinner

departure day CS lunch

so mostly CS for lunch, TS for dinner, but some variety...we will probably also use CS for breakfast at times and split between us (since you get 2 drinks with one CS breakfast) and then split some of the CS at lunch

(we have 4 adults and a toddler so splitting should be easy a lot of places especially if we use snack credits to supplement meals or occasionally buy a kids meal OOP)

I basically make a list of every TS place I want to eat at- then I place them on the days that those make most sense.
Then I fill in the blanks w/ CS and snacks- BUT i ALWAYS end up needing to pay for some meals oop. Quite a few really- but mostly b/c we're 3 meal a day people. If my kids weren't with me prob wouldn't be as big a deal- but they need to sit and eat square meals- if only for the resting break!

I try to figure out which are the most economical to pay oop for. For example- a bfast buffet might be a good one for Adult oop- but kids on the ddp. They'll do wahtever you ask in terms of credits.
