Let's see: You asked for McCain's voting record on veteran affairs and someone provided you the record. Now that you have the record, you want to see if there's another reason. Translated: You don't like the record so there just has to be some justification.

I provided the vote tally. There's usually more to it than just the vote tally. Do I really have to explain this to you?

If you don't like McCain's record on the one vote I had time to look up, then you must not like the Dem's record on the same vote. Since the Dems overwhelmingly voted against it as well, you should probably thank them because there was something buried in the bill they didn't want.

John McCain voted against an American company to the detriment of American workers on behalf of a foreign company. That is the bottom line.

You failed to acknowledge that EADS/Northrup/AirBus will employ thousands of US workers in the US. An oversight?

Keep splitting hairs when it comes to a foreign company and John McCain's involvement. Airbus is a foreign company subsidized by the French government. What happened? No more "freedom fries". EADS is a shell company set up by Northrup-Grumann to give cover to the fact that this will be built by a foreign company.

Boeing got caught "negotiating" with an Air Force procurement officer who was essentially telling them what bid they could "get away with". McCain caught it and saved the US taxpayer millions. It is untrue to say that the jobs are going overseas. They are staying here, in the US.
