How do they decide where you work?

I'd request before paying the fee, since that's when they place you.

You can request Innovantions too - I know CPs work there... one helped me on the Segway.

I have already accepted and paid the fee, but I was thinking of emailing to request a specific attraction. Do you think this would help or is it too late?

I'm sure it will be fine.

What kind of timeline should I expect on finding out where I'm working?

If I understand, we'll find out where we'll work generally (Magic Kingdom) a couple of weeks before we arrive, but we won't find out specifically (Main Street Emporium) until after check-in. Correct?

You'll find out where you're working when you get there. Basically, the process mentioned earlier occurs entirely behind-the-scenes and involves a lot of chatter between College Recruiting, Casting Services, Human Resources, Labor Operations and Area Leadership.

I guess you could call up your recruiter and ask them what area they put you, but I don't think that will happen.

You find out the general location on Day 2, but you find out the exact location during training. For example- last summer I found out I would be working on Main Street North (which includes Casey's Corner, Plaza, Ice Cream Parlor, and the Bakery). But I didn't find out exactly where until training, after the MK tour (I ended up at Casey's).

Oh. I thought I read somewhere that you would hear something on location before you arrived. Maybe I just dreamed it. Hate it when that happens! lol.
