We don’t remember - do you choose a combination or get a key on a wristband, or something else?

I think some are still finger print scanners and the newer ones scan your ticket - so make sure you don't leave your ticket in the locker. ;)

You scan your ticket and a door pops open. Put your stuff in and when you come back you scan your ticket and hopefully the same door pops open! In all seriousness it's the same door almost always.

Nearly all use tickets, so having a lanyard is very convenient. Sounds like you haven’t been for awhile- the size of the free lockers was changed earlier this year at nearly every location. Same width and depth but only about four inches high now. What used to be the free standard lockers are now “large” paid lockers. Plan accordingly.

Free lockers? in DL I am used to paying for them. Are they in all parks? This is great to hear! Leaving in 7 days!

The FJ lockers were the only ones I encountered that still use a fingerprint. Those are the worst for crowding!

These are not the lockers near the front of the park to leave your things in for extended periods of time. as Squirlz said, these are only for limited time use while you ride a specific ride that limits bags.

Just to further clarify and expand on what PPs said, they are only meant to hold your bag while you're on the ride. They all have time limits (some are an hour, some are a little longer) and the locker bank will be adjacent to the ride. If you want a locker where you can store items all day with no time limit, those are at the front of the park and I think a standard size one is roughly $10 for the day. It operates the same way, using your ticket to open it.

Almost did that. Also almost left my express pass in the locker when they said put everything in the locker.

Do you know how much these "large" lockers cost? Do you have to pay it multiple times (for every ride) or can you pay 1 price that covers a large locker rental for the rest of the day across all rides?

Last we went was just before this change. What are people doing about the refillable mugs?

Some attractions have a specific, labeled trash bin to dump liquids in. The cup must be empty before putting it in the locker. If it’s not it will leak and possibly damage other peoples possessions.

I don’t know how much. There are lockers at the front of each park that are a higher, all day fee. The ones by the rides are pay per use. The time limit for ride lockers is tied to the ride wait time. It usually gives more than enough time to get two rides in, especially if one is single rider.

I believe the big lockers are $2 for 'while you ride' then $3 for every 30 minutes after that. You would have to pay that at each ride.

How do most people wear their ticket? Lanyard? I'm only going for one day to visit the Wizarding World and just don't want to mess up... short windows of opportunity and all.

We always wear a lanyard.......on rides that are fast, like Mummy and such we tuck it in to our shirts. Haven’t lost one yet.....

The friend I'm going with it mostly a slow-ride and show person so I'm not too worried about it but want to be prepped. I picture myself with a ticket in my pocket, sliding riiiight out on a ride. Thanks for making me feel better!!
