how do rewards work with Disney visa

I see that triple rewards points are being awarded. I believe you get one reward point per $100/ or 3 per $100 under this promotion.

Before I sign up for this card, what are the rewards? Like 30 points on a $1000 purchase could be redeemed for what?

I don't have a Disney Visa but if I remember the information correctly, the 30 points can ultimately be exchanged for Disney Dollars. These dollars can be used like cash at Disney Store locations and park locations for toys, clothing, food, park passes, etc...

The Disney VISA rewards you in Disney Dream Dollars. They cannot be exchanged for Disney Dollars. However, when you cash in your reward points, they send you a Disney Rewards Card. It looks like a giftcard and can be used at WDW, Disneyland, Disney Cruiseline and Disney Stores (both online and B&M). The Disney VISA normally rewards 1 Disney Dream Dollar for every $100 charged to the card...a 1% return on your money.
