How do prepayment and the DDP work at CRT?

I apoligize if this question has been asked before, but what happens at CRT? You have prepaid for you meal. Does the server ask you if you want to leave the original charge? Do they credit your card and take if from your dining plan credits? Does the cost that you already paid include the tip? Just not sure how all of it works--thanks!

If you call to make the reservation, and tell them you are on the DDP, then they will just use the card to secure the table, but won't charge you. If (like me) you book it online, you will be charged, but you can supposedly reverse the charge when you arrive.

dont wanna hi-jack your thread OP but I have a similiar question. I booked CRT using my credit card just for the hold since Im on the DDP. But when we go I want to pay cash not use my credits is this difficult ? Also the tip is included correct? Thats what I thought but in someones TR they stated they left a tip. TIA! I'm sure they will take your money! Tip is included for CRT and not to violate the "tip questions only on the tip thread in the Stickies", but anyone can leave extra tip if they so choose.

Yea I wasnt sure if they added an extra tip. I just wanted to make sure I knew how much I should bring in tips but that TR confused me a bit! Thanks for the info!!!!!

Are you expected to leave a tip at CRT if you are using the DP?

At CRT and the Dinner Shows, gratuity is fully included. You can (of course) leave additional tips, but it is definitely not required or likely a common practice. This goes for both Cash and DDP paid meals.
