How do oldr tickets work?

I have a friend coming wih me to Disneyworld in April. She has some unused days on tickets from 2006/2007. Will they work with the new system or will we need to trade them in for a new ticket?

The exchange can be done at no charge at any ticket booth or Guest Relations at WDW.

There are sometimes CMs at the gates who can make the exchange as guests enter,
but, rather than take the chance of possibly slowing down the entry process with trying to make the exchange at the gates, I'd just show up a bit earlier and do the transaction at a ticket booth or GR.

Are you staying at a Disney resort so that you will have a magic band? My husband has no expiring days from a ticket purchased in 2007. I was able to link to his magic band on my MDE account without a problem.

I did it at the ticket booth before entering. It took about two minutes with no hassle at all. Did need an ID though!
