How do MMs affect non-resort guests?

Hello everyone! We are doing a day trip to DLR this Tuesday. We really want to do Disneyland Park but there is Early Entry and Magic Mornings scheduled for resort guests. How badly will this affect us non resort guests who can't get into the park until 9? Total DLR novice here so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Fantasyland and Tomorrowland will be busy by the time the park opens for you, so plan on hitting up Adventureland/NOS first.

Don't waste time trying to get on Peter Pan in the morning. Once the line builds (which will happen during early entry), it stays pretty much the same all day. Indy will be pretty much a walk-on first thing, as will Pirates, HM, BTMRR, and Splash.

As others have said, it means there will already be lines for the attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland when the park opens at 9:00 am, but the rest of the park won't be impacted. My general feeling is that there is a small impact, primarily in the two lands that are open for MM/EMH, but the impact on the overall crowds in the parks is pretty small and dissipates pretty quickly after opening. They don't start distributing FPs until the park opens to everyone, so everyone is on even footing for those. Overall, when I go, I don't really worry about EMH/MM unless I'm trying to ride Peter Pan with the shortest possible line.

If you want to get the same as everyone else, just go to the park that doesn't have the MM/EMH that day. Only one park per day has that feature.

Edit: oh sorry it looks like you will only be there one day? If so, do what others have said.

what is your priority? if you are headed to the left of Main street into Adventureland you will find that area to be empty as you head down to POC and NBC. If you are a tomorrowland person, then it is all about the fast pass collection. Folks tend to move out of MM fantasyland into Tomorrowland because of it being near and fastpass system opening.

As an aside, with respect to Peter Pan, I always ride that moments after the rope drop or not at all. There are some rare exceptions. On occasion, a CM will scan my pass with front-of-the-line access. When that happens, I'll then ride PP again in the afternoon. But if I get to FL moments after the rope drop and PP is closed/delayed, I don't even bother with it; I write it off for the day.

Over all, MM/EMH means that the park will be busier faster. Even if you are first in line for people eligible to enter at 9:00, there are thousands of people already in the park in line. If you don't have early entry, go to the other park.
