How do Magical Extras work with a split stay?

I received my magic bands for my first reservation today, so that’s super exciting! However, I’m confused by Magical Extras. It says on the card that it’s good for the length of my first reservation. That makes sense, but how does this work with my second reservation? Will I not be able to use these benefits during the entire length of my stay? I was planning to use the golf vouchers on the Sunday I’m there, but that would be during the time of my second reservation. Now I’m not sure if that’s possible.

I am interested in ths same question! I received my Magic Band today as well...on Disney property for the first three days off for the last two.

If you look at the terms and conditions on the vouchers it states they expire on your checkout day. That would be the checkout day of the package the vouchers came with. You can always ask if you can use the vouchers past that but no guarantee they’ll say yes.

“Split Stay” is an Internet term. In a Disney’s eyes you have 2 totally separate reservations. Your Magical Extras are for the first stay. They expire when your reservation expires at the end of what you’re considering your first stay. You will not be able to se them on the Sunday if it is after that.

Well, this is a bummer. I won’t be able to use them if not on Sunday. That’s really the only chance I had. I’ve set time aside for it and everything, so this really bums me out. Best chance I have is to ask a cast member about it.

Why would you ask? It is what it is

You would need to ask the CM at the mini-golf course as they are the only ones that could make the decision. Just be prepared for a no if the CM can't sprinkle pixie dust. You would, obviously, then need to decide if you want to stay and pay OOP for the mini-golf.

Out of hope that maybe a little Disney Magic will come my way. I won’t make a fuss if they say no since more likely than not they will, but trying never hurt anyone.

I will probably do this. If I get a no, I’ll probably just hang out at my resort that afternoon instead. I could maybe rearrange my plans to go earlier in my trip, but not sure how easy that will be with fastpasses and ADRs. Hopefully something works out because we were looking forward to mini golf.
