Craigslist is easy to use! Hit the post button & it gives you a place to add your item title, price, description & pics. I think having pics makes a huge difference to getting it sold. Don't forget to put it in as an anonoymous ad so you don't get tons of spam. Even w/doing that, I still seem to get some but can't prove it comes from placing an ad. It will send the ad to your email, you open it & hit publish.
I would state cash only upon pickup. I've had a few show w/slighly less but I base prices on some haggling so it was ok. Let them know in the ad if you're willing to help haul to the car, deliver, etc. or not. I can generally get a feel from the response if they're honest or not. I don't usually respond to the short, non sentence type replies. And I don't give them my address or phone number until they response to my reply to their buying request. Be prepared for possible no-shows but overall, I've been very happy listing & buying things there.
Good luck!
