I was a cheerleader/gymnast in my high school and college days and I've always had these short thick muscles. As I've gotten older I've noticed that I gain all my weight in my thighs and legs. I had a baby about 2 months ago and my stomach is already flat again but I just can't manage to get my legs in shape. I jog/run almost every day but cardio just isn't cutting it. I've always been worried about doing any kind of weights with my legs because my muscles will bulk up and make my legs look even heavier. A friend of mine suggested lunges. Does anyone know - will that help my legs look any leaner? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
