I know this question has probably been answered thousands of times on this thread, but I just can't seem to find it. :confused3 :confused3

How do I go about having a case of bottled water shipped to my resort? We leave next week, have I waited too late? How should I word the shipping label?

Do you already have the water, or are you ordering? You can have water delivered by one of the grocery services, like wegoshop or garden grocer, or you can order from one of the office supply companies and have it delivered to the resort. If you think you might like some other snacks and stuff as well, I would try one of the shopping services. You can go to their website and see if they still have delivery times available for your arrival date.

Water is very heavy to ship. If you already have the water and are planning to ship it, you need the following info on your lable (and would need to give it if you order as well):

Resort Name
Hold for: Guest Name
Arrival Date: 00-00-00
Hotel street address
City, State Zip

Costco and Staples are both companies I have used and one or the other very often has a special deal on shipping.

When we went in Feb we shipped bottled water, snacks, and a toaster to our room and we shipped it out 2 days before we left. Next time I will ship 3 days out since we didnt get it until our second day. I thought this was a great idea since we were not renting a car.

Have a GREAT time!
Dana
p.s. I called POP and asked what to write on the lable

I really wouldn't bother doing this personally. The water tastes fine everywhere except the MK - I just get free cups of ice water at the parks. For the room, you can get ice and drink tap water.
I do a grocery stop and pick up some water and stuff, but if you're doing ME, then I personally think this is a waste of time. I can't imagine shipping somthing like water - snacks, yes, but water, no.
If you're really picky, you can bring a little filter bottle or something. But honestly, the tap water tastes fine everywhere, except MK (it's awful there, but you could bring little kool aid packets to add, the kind for a bottle of water).

I was planning on ordering it from Costco. The cost includes shipping. I just wanted to know what to put on the shipping label.

I just checked the Staples website, and it will cost TWICE as much to ship a case of water as it will to ship from Costco! :scared1:
