How do I see if banked points were used or correct it?

I have several reservations using banked and current UY points. When I look at my point activity, it all says 2024 use year. I'm within 30 days of one reservation and the rest are further out. How do I see what they're using and make sure the banked get used up first?

The points used would be what was available when you booked that specific reservation.

It goes in order of booking and not stay. So, when you booked that, was it before the others?

If so, and you had banked points sitting in your account, they would be used first.

If you banked after this trip was made, and didn’t reallocated, then the banked points would be in the others.

Easiest way to see is to call MS. But you can do it on your own by modifying and not changing anything and rebooking to see points summary.

Since you are within 31 days, any changes to points used would end up with freed up points in holding.

Once inside of 31 days, any points freed up with a reallocation would release points in holding status....that means they can't be banked, expire at the end of the UY they are in, and can only be booked into reservations 60 days less from check in.

If you have banked points sitting in your account right now, then reallocating them into the trip that is less than 31 days is not going to do you any good because the ones released willl be restricted.

Had you done it more than 31 days out, you would have been able to return current UY points with no restrictions.

What that is showing is that as of today, all the points in your 2025 UY will expire at the end of it, unless they are eligible for banking, in which they will move to your 2026 UY when you complete that.

You will get this message for whatever is sitting in your account......to know if any of those 2025 UY points are bankable, you would look at how many it says can be banked....if it is 48, then all that is left are current 2025 UY points.

If the number bankable is less than 48, then you have restricted points...mostly banked 2024 sitting in your 2025 UY
