How do I search within a thread?

Could you please turn it on? With threads with hundreds of pages of posts, searching in a thread would be beneficial.

You're responding to an answer from over a year ago. Things have changed.

When you have a thread open, and go to the search box at the upper right, after putting in the words you want to search for, there is an option to "search this thread only" as well as "search this forum only".

It seems to work for me.

It does work as stated.

This is a search option I have never seen in any of the many dozens of forums I use. Usually there's a thread tools or a Search within Thread link. It just isn't all that intuitive. Thanks!
