How do I save pics onto a CD?

I know I've done this before....but for some reason, it's not coming to me.

I have a bunch of pics from my friends wedding saved on my pc. I want to put them on a CD for her so she can have copies made.

Anyone know how to do this? I don't think I have any type of copying software.

Do you have a CD burner drive? You have to have one of those first.

If you do, just open the picture files and save them to that drive. Just like you would save a file to a floppy.

Does that make sense--this is why I'm a librarian and not a teacher--I can do it for you, but I can't explain how!

What operating system do you have on your computer?

I use Windows Movie Maker which came with my Windows XP and I set the pictures to music. Easy!
