How do I request a certain cabin loop?

Do I call WDW Reservations or do I call the FW front desk? Thanks for your help!

To the best of my knowledge, FW doesnt even get your reservation until about 3 days before your arrival....But the reservations line has tried to remove my request of "near a bus stop" on the last 3 calls Ive made to them....and that request is STILL on my reservation.Heck, Ive tried to have them update my phone number for over 4 years now, and they still have my old phone number...and they ask for your phone number EVERYTIME you call reservations. Good luck with your decision, but Id call FW three days before you arrive to double check any requests youve made.

Sorry to disagree with the suggestion, but don't bother calling on the phone three days out. When you call FW and ask about your reservation you talk to the folks at the front desk. Remember the last time you were there? Do you think they really want to deal with a "special request" on the phone for someone showing up in three days or do they want to take care of the person standing in front of them?

Disney is actually trying to get out of the business of taking special requests at the hotels. The want everything noted on the reservation. That way when the reservation is transferred to FW everything is ready for the site assigner.

Now the real question is why do you want a specific loop? Close to the pool? Close to the bus stop? Close to a camping loop that someone else is asking for? Rather than select a specific loop, you should be communicating your desires to the reservation cast member. Only if it is something like "we stayed in the 2600 loop for our honeymoon and it was magical" should you be asking for a specific loop. Otherwise, ask for the features you want and have them added to your reservation. The site/room assigners at FW do a great job of getting folks what tey want.

Yep, your best bet is to fax them the request, I wouldn't trust a phone call.
