I know it can be done, I do I do! But I've been all over the photopass site and can't find a way to prepay it ahead of time. I'm still going back and forth on doing that and having all the little cutesie things to add to my photos vs getting the cheapie version that I can buy right there at the park. But I'd like to know how I could buy it ahead of time, just in case I decide to do that!

I was part of a share for our Sept trip, and the leader had pre-purchased it for a discount, but gosh I can't find where to do that!

Thanks for any recent knowledge!

I'm interested in how to do this too. We're going to be getting a PhotoPass for our trip next year and want to sort everything before hand.

I've read you can do it, but can't seem to find how...

how can you get the 20% off?? We are planning on using this once we get to the parks anyways and saving is just an added bonus.

I have this link, not sure if this is the price you were looking for or not. HTH

Thank you!!! That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I couldn't find the link to that on the site, so it must be a "if you know, you know" situation. :)

RuthieT, that link is the 20% off; the 99 vs 124 coupon.

Now I just have to decide if I want the extra editing goodies from that, or just walk away with the less expensive one...

I am seeing on other boards that the DL photopass is $59.99 if you purchase it there so it is best not to purchase ahead of time.

Thanks for the link, 21yankees.:thumbsup2 I've been trying to find the pre-order offer on the PhotoPass site, too with no success - until now!

But the one you get in the park has fewer editing options. In fact I'm not sure you can edit it at all.

The more expensive one, either pre-ordering or ordering it after your visit, gives you more options, like putting the year, and little decorations, like tinkerbell flying over sprinkling dust on the picture.

I was part of a photopass share in Sept, so I got to do those things, but wasn't the one ordering from disney, so I just didn't know where to find the discount! I found our pictures to be such a good value that this time I'm forgoing the share idea, and just paying it all (after editing, which saves each one you create, we got 95 images from it!)...I just have to decide if I want the cutesie things for more expensive, or just the pictures for cheaper!

For anyone wanting to get photopass pictures, and remember that having the pictures taken is free (you pay if you want to get prints or the CD), try to find Jack Sparrow on Pirate's Lair with the whole setup. They put the coolest frame around it (seems it's done in the camera, b/c I didn't add it and couldn't remove it while editing)!

Yes, I bought my CD in the park and I had this on my pictures as well. You also get Tink in the pictures where they have you look down at your hand and such. So, there are a couple of little extras besides just pics.

However, I'm a scrapbooker, and I really just wants the pics, not all the other stuff.

Thanks for all the great tips as we are planning our first visit to DL (usually go to WDW). :thumbsup2

There is absolutely no way I'm missing an opportunity to get my pic taken with the Captain (nevermind if DD wants to or not :lmao: )

Yes, I've seen this on MiceAge. It was said that you can go into the photo store before the end of your trip and if you purchase the CD before leaving the park, they will give it to you (not ship) and it's the 59.99 price.
