How do I post a photo?

Completely technologically challenged...please help

Your pic has to be hosted on a website first. There are many great threads that has a lot of information. I'll go in and try and find for you and maybe someone will jump in first and list them.

I just E-mailed TECH support the same question. I also posted on a "photo" thread, and the DISers there were a big help: I DID IT!

If my AOL doesn't blip out on me in the next few minutes, I'll come back here with the steps I just did.

After you have your picture ready, go to this site. It's a photo gallery. http://www.wdwinfo.com/photopost/index.php

I think you have to register first, but it's the same info as your DISBoards name/password and just took a second to do.

Select "Upload Photos" (upper right of screen). Follow directions.

Once the photo is in the gallery (I had to change the size to make it smaller as it kept being "not accepted."), "select" the photo to take it to a new screen, then RIGHT-click on the photo and "select" properties. Highlight & copy the URL (the whole thing), then exit.

Next, go to your message and in the body type

. Then "preview" your message and you should have your photo.

(there are separate instructions for doing the picture under your signature -- I think you go to "profile" for that)

Where I was challenged was actually getting the photo copied/moved to the appropriate "place" to have it appear on the PHOTOPOST site. I just had to play around with things until I figured it out....
