How Do I Plan This?

I can't believe that Disney hasn't even released the park hours of operation for JUNE YET!! Nevermind July, August or beyond.

How do I plan my trip????

I'll never be able to get the PS arrangements that I need if I don't even know which park I want to go into. What happened to the old 6-9 months that they used to give you to plan. This really screws up a planning fanatic like myself.

Anyone else in this situation? AARRRGGGG!!! FRUSTRATION!!!

i would not look for park hours for June till the end of April or first of May.they are saying 30 to60 days out but it is more like 30.the way i done PS is plan on worst case scenario.

I'm in exactly the same position. We go out on 11 June. I did manage to book my DS on the pirate cruise at the Grand Floridian on 18 June but can't really plan much else as I don't know what park we will be visiting on what day as I need to see when Spectromagic etc is running. Very frustrating!

Even when they do post them, they change. If you look at May, there is no Spectromagic parade. They will update it next week I heard.

Your best bet is to look at the historical hours for June and plan according to them. THis is what i did.

I was as frustrated for the May Hours 30days ago as you are for the June hours now but had absolutely no problem with making PS's after the hours were posted. In most cases they do not take a PS before the park hours are officially posted. If they follow the same timetable for June hours as they did for May hours you should see them by the 3rd or 4th of May. Good luck.

I know exactly how you feel !!! We leave for our trip on June 3rd.
I have never been so unprepared for a Disney trip. We are determined that no matter what we are going to make this trip, and have a great, healthy, and safe time. Disney sure isn't helping with tourism by making the planning so difficult. I understand economic problems, tourism, etc., but to complicate matters by making last minute changes and decisions to park hours and schedules? I feel Disney is allienating the people who are so whole-heartedly trying to overcome all adversity by traveling to Orlando for hard earned vacations. I am trying to be understanding, but patience is not my virtue. Hopefully, we will see June hours pretty soon. Would it be too much to hope for and occasional E night, parade, and fireworks? Getting to Disney has been hard work this year!

That's not true. You can make PS's in MK 60 days out regardless of if the park hours are posted or not. And you can do resorts and some other places 120 days out.

Yes, I found this out about PS's when I called dining. I told the cm that I was VERY frustrated about the scheduling, and that I was going to schedule EVERY dining PS for EVERY day and time for each of the days of my trip!!! THAT is the Only way I can be sure to get the ps I need for my kids and myself.

She told me that I could do that, and that I wasn't the only one mad about Disney scheduling.

Disney certainly isn't going to Boost park attendance by doing this to people. Neither are they by CLOSING the park at 6:00 or 7:00, when the MINIMUM cost to enter the gate for 2 adults is just over $100.00 ; add any kids to that figure, plus food and then have to leave at 6 or 7!!! Good Luck Disney.
