Ta

Here's the info I got from WDW - I think it echoes the previous poster's link. I bought the Photopass+ preorder for our October trip and got the voucher in just a few days.

Walt Disney World Pre- Arrival PhotoCD for $119.95
http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitoffer.aspx

For Walt Disney World Pre-Purchase PhotoPass+ for $169.95:
www.disneyphotopass.com/wdwphotopassplus.aspx

For Disneyland Pre-Purchase PhotoPass+ for $69.95:
www.disneyphotopass.com/dlrphotopassplus.aspx

Please Note that this offer will expire on the day before your check-in date at 11:59 PM EST.

This is our second trip to WDW, so we still are a little overwhelmed with all the stuff to do! I hope you have a delightful trip!

How far in advance can you buy it?

thinking of buying it soon but not going till June 2013.......? Would that still be ok ?

Whats the difference between the $119.95 offer and the $169.95 offer?

The $119.95 is the pre purchase price of the regular photopass. The $169.95 is the price for photopass+ which also includes selected ride photos and selected character meal photos as well.

They ask you to leave a minimum of 14 clear days before your trip to allow the pack to be sent to you. They do send it expedited shipping and mine was here in a week, but they I wouldnt' leave it to chance as you MUST have the voucher to get your photopass card when you arrive.

You can purchase it when you get there but it is then $199 and does not include sales tax (the pre purchase CD does).

You can order it any length of time before your trip. It is as with the regular photopass CD and does not expire.

Ive seen somewhere that you can only order it 90days before your trip and it expires after that.....is this true?

No, not heard of this before and it's certainly not what Disney Photopass has on their site. I am one of those annoying people who reads the fine print and always clicks on the terms and conditions before agreeing to anything and that's all news to me.

Photopass replied to my email question (and similar responses can be found on their facebook page) stating that you have to order it at least 14 days prior to departure. It is only valid for 14 days from the date you activate it (this is when you are in WDW and hand in your voucher in exchange for the card). The images taken do have a shelf life and you have 30 days from the date the first photo is taken to add the photopass cards to your account online and then a further 30 days to edit them. You can pay for extensions if you require extra time so this may be where the crossed wires have come from.

The pre-purchase doesn't actually include the sales tax it is just as it is an out of state sale no sales tax is chargeable - sorry picky but its my job makes me OCD about those kinds of details ;)

The price in the parks inc tax is $212.94

Wow somehow I missed that this now expires after 14 days! We've used Photopass a lot, so I'm not happy that we now have to choose whether to miss the first 7 days of our trip or the last 7 days, or not to bother purchasing it at all! Really not happy about this!!!! :headache:

BRILLIANT! Thank you so much for your help, going to book it today and get another expense out of the way! That will be flights and photopass out of the way so its going to leave me just paying off the holiday package which is good going (in my opinion lol)

Just ordered photopass+ and I have no idea why considering I still have ten months to go, I am sooooooooooooooo excited woooohoooopixiedust:

I've ordered Photopass CD's over a year out. At least you won't be affected by any possible price increases before you go :cool1:

Can anyone advise what I need to do to upgrade photopass to photopas plus?

I pre paid photopass earlier this year when it was still $99.

I sent them an email on their contact us link giving my email address to which my PP account is linked (not the same as the regular one I use), and my pre purchase order number from the confirmation email. They then converted the regular credit in my account to place a PP+ CD in my shopping cart with the credit of $99 applied and all I had to do was proceed to checkout and pay the other $70. I had my pack within under a week :thumbsup2
