How do I order a color Magic Band

Do you get you magic bands before your trip? If I arrive at the Parks on a Satuday morning and don't check in until the afternoon, how will I get into the parks?

Ours were mailed 30 days before our trip. Mailed Friday, received this past Monday and we arrive February 23

Yes, at least if you reside in the US, they send them to you. Once your deadline for customizing arrives, they make them and send them out within a couple days, and you should get them a couple days after that. Right around 30 days.

If you don't reside in the US, they are sent to the resort for you to pick the up. If you have separate linked ticket media you _might_ be able to get in to the parks and use FP+ - otherwise you need to go to the resort first.

If you don't customize, or book a resort at the last minute, you will be given the "Iconic Gray" bands by default when you check in.

Go online and check. Originally, we were told you had up until 10 days before, but that does not appear to be the case currently.

If you go to your MDX account and have your resort stay properly registered in there, it will tell you if you can customize. If you have just entered the resort, it can take a day or two before it will let you.

If you ordered them thru MDE you should get them about 3 weeks before your arrival date (I just got notice mine shipped last week and I arrive last week of Feb).

If you plan to get them at the hotel upon arrival, even if you get there before official "check in" time, you can check in, leave your bags with them and go enjoy the parks. They'll call/text you when your room is ready.
