how do i meet my own mule?

when i am already on i and i click enter game again it just goes to the window im already playing in and then goes to the log in page. but i wanted to trade with my mule how do i do that? how do i get two separate windows?

When you have the yellow sing in window. Hit ctrl-n, then another sign in window will pop up. Then you can sign in to both accounts, one in each window. Do not hit ctrl-n if you have already signed into one of your accounts. I will just copy what is already up.

I use internet explorer for one and fire fox for another when I'm moving stuff to my storage account.

well when I use the two browsers, I put one of my characters in one of my rooms on that account, like baseball room of fun, then use the other character and do a guest room search for baseball room of fun, and it finds it and I go in the same guest room. So then they're both in the same guest room and can trade.
Sometimes trading doesn't work in guest rooms, so I have them friend one another and have one go into an empty public room and the other use the friends list to follow.

I hope that makes sense.

Same thing happens to me, even when I try and use Internet Explorer for one and AOL for another. For me, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with AOL and it's never-ending "big fat pain in the neck" qualities.

Open up two Internet explorer windows, but use the direct login page to access vmk, not the vmk main page.

Now, are your mules friends? If not, go to Main Street North or something like that for both characters. Then make them be friends. Then you can find yourself easily in the future.

It's tricky, I have IE6 and use the ctrl + N method, log in my main avie and send her to a room, then log the mule from the second login page. Sometimes when I send the mule to the same room to trade stuff to main avie, one or the other does not show up in the room. I relog them or even reboot and re-re-log if I have to. It's a pain sometimes, and slow because my graphics card is not really sufficient. But at least I can do it if I keep trying.

It's not tricky...I do it all the time. Use the direct login page and there is no problems.

Well, I did mention my graphics card isn't really suited, I described what I go through trying to dual log because someone else might be able to recognize that as the same problem they might be having and possibly, a clue toward resolving it...

There are many instances (I think up to 16) of each common area. Each instance is named after a different direction (some of the directions do not make sense, i.e. north south east). So for example there might be a Central Plaza south and a Central Plaza north. Each of these instances will be the same area, but have different players in them. To find out which instance you are in you can always click on the I icon on the lower left of your screen.

The trick is to get both players to the same instance of an area. If you use the globe icon to go to any map page, you will see a checkbox in the lower right for Advanced Mode. Check it and when you click on an area it will show you all instances with at least one player in them and if all the instances are not in use there will be one with no players in it.

So the way to get together is to send one player to an area, check which instance it is by using the I, and then send the second player to the same instance using advanced mode.

Good lesson, I'll have to remember that, could be another reason why sometimes I didn't see the mule tho she was definitely logged in!

Since pins and clothes have to be kept on a character, it might be advantageous to have another character to hold your extras.
