That was really sweet of you. I take her daughter out to the college where her and my oldest go to school. So we do things for each other all the time. I already know something I want to get her. Last year when her and I were there she was eyeing the Mickey Mouse pizza plates but never broke down and bought them, so I was planning to get them for her already.


Thank you. He is fitting in real well. Tomorrow I will post a picture of the other new member of the family. My oldest daughter Kacy got a fish. Oh yeah we are truly becoming a zoo. We now have a puppy, a guinea pig, a fish and a parakeet. The pet store loves us.

I have had conures and they were loud enough. The thought of having a louder bird does not work for me. I am not real fond of anything reptilian at all. Kody would like a tortoise but for right now that is a no from me.

I am ok with most reptiles. I love bearded dragons. They are so gentle, and just like to laze around. Dillon had one when we first started dating, and while we watched movies, he'd crawl into the hoods or pockets of our hoodies, and sleep.

My BIL and his ex wife used to have Burmese pythons and all other sorts of reptiles. Yuck. But I will tell you I don't mind geckos or bearded dragons.

Tomorrow it is one week!! Seven short days until we are on the road to Disneyland.


I am blessed to have wonderful friends. Today my bff Dina that I went with last year told me she had a gift for me when we went put to lunch and to the movies. It is a $50 gift card, she told me that her and her daughter wanted to buy us dinner at Disneyland.

Well, the puppy and the pig are being kept separate while Dustball is out of the cage Annabel is outside. The fish Gibraltar is oblivious to every thing outside his little tank.

Yay!!! I'm so happy for you!! Yesterday marked six months until my cruise leaves Here's my itnerary:

July 28- Leave for New York (flight leaves LAX at 7:35 in the morning , lands at JFK at 12:59 our time) and drive to Philadelphia from JFK

July 29- Philadelphia

July 30- Hershey

July 31- Hershey

August 1- Hershey

August 2- Drive back to New York

August 3- New York

August 4- Last full day in New York before our cruise

August 5- Cruise leaves

August 6- At Sea

August 7- Halifax, Nova Scotia

August 8- Saint John, New Brunswick

August 9- At Sea

August 10- Cruise ends , stay in New York

August 11- Last full day in New York

August 12- Go Home (flight leaves JFK at 1:55 our time, lands at LAX at 8:00 PM our time)

Well, I am pleased to see the weather forecast for our trip. The weather is supposed to be in the high 60's and low 70's. Except for Thursday which they are forecasting low 60's but hey I am not complaining. Bad weather at Disneyland is better than good weather at home.
