Yes, I did mean an adult beverage, but coke with a sedative would probably work too. I love the idea of a road trip myself.

Okay so after much thought and discussion we decided that instead of finding a place to stay on the way down we are just going to leave on the 13th and stay take our time driving down and enjoy an extra night at the Ayre's. I just called and reserved it. I am thrilled. So although it is four weeks until Disneyland it is only 27 days until we leave!!

That way we can have a relaxed drive down and not get up at 2 am to be there in the am.

I can't believe you only have 27 days until you go! I think we're at 29 days to go!

We leave the 15th - but we're driving to Santa Monica and won't go to Anaheim until the 17th (early morning). And probably won't go to DLR until the 18th, so I guess that makes the DLR portion of our trip 32 days out.

Thank you. The thought of getting up at like 2 am to drive down wasn't my idea of a vacation. WBG and I sat down and discussed it. We decided that it might be nice to get down to Anaheim on Monday and actually get some rest the night before.

We are leaving on the 17th in the morning but only after going to DTD for an hour or so. There are a few things that I don't want to get until that day. Like Kody always wants an apple, I know it will stay fresher if we get it that day.


Santa Monica will be nice. The beaches are so nice there. Hopefully the weather will be nice. It would kill me to be so close to DLR and not go. We went to Beverly Hills one year and it drove me nuts to be so close to DLR and be so far at the same time.
