How do I love thee....let me count the days!! It's done.......

Well, Kody got Big Time Rush tickets, a Big Time Rush t-shirt, Big Time Rush posters, a Big Time Rush cd and a Panic! at the Disco jacket.

Loren got 4 video games and to share the Xbox 360 Kinect with me.

Kacy got concert tickets, boots, make up brushes and lots of make up.

Those things were from their dad and I. They also got things from their grandma's.

That's nice. What does the Big Time Rush shirt look like?

I know that baby must go fassssttttttttt. Ok come get me I would only be a few miles away -- less then 1,000 miles by maybe 2 or 3 miles LOL. BTW nice rig you pick out nice rides for sure. I am thinking of buying a camero or charger next car -- those retro looks were "My" years just out of high school. I wish they would bring back the el caminos, but I think that is a lost cause. Well no matter -- you got a sweet ride for the vacation.

Trip news!!

I made our reservations for our rental car today!! We are reserved to have a Dodge Avenger. I got a good deal through Costco so I am thrilled.

My brother owns that car and they took their last trip to California in that car and loved it. They had a 26 hour drive, so I think you'll be ok for yours! :goodvibes

Hey what's a 1,000 miles between friends?:rotfl: I have a 1965 Mustang that my dad drove off the lot when I was a little girl. We need to restore it though. My 16 year old son Loren wants it so bad. Um no that car is mine, maybe when he is an adult.

I figured that it was a pretty good gas mileage car. Am I right?

Nice vehicle for your upcoming trip Michele. I am getting excited for you since you are a couple of months away till your trip.

Hi Bret!

I am getting real excited too. That car should be fun to drive. Especially since I am used to driving a minivan. Something smaller will be nice for a change.

Wow for the mustang!!!!!!! Gotta love Daddy. Make sure you get that firewall in between the backseat and trunk. Never been a mustang fan but they sure do look sweet. Your son needs to get working on getting parts now -- might take a while-- but what a great father-son car to work on. My Son-in-law works on his race car and my 7 year old grandson is there helping. (Race cars are a never ending project) Grandson has his car all picked out from seeling the cars atthe end of the world rod run. My husband had a friend restore husbands '68 ford truck. Dale bought it new -- now has just under 100k mikes on it. friends has had for going on 5 years now lol Dale keeps wanting something else done on it. Men and their cars ---LOL

You are so cute with the "what is 1k miles between friends"

We;; better go take a nap it is almost bed time to LOL

Patty, I used to cruise in that car when I was a teenager. It is the perfect car to learn to work on. I am thinking that maybe he wants to take an auto shop class at the local college. I know he would love it. My dad made sure that my sister and I could help to work on the car. My first car was VW Beetle. I still love the old ones.

Enjoy your nap!!

I'm so jealous about Kody's presents. My laptop doesn't want me to see the link.

Oh that is too bad. If you go to Hot Topics and look at Big Time Rush t shirts it will show you the one she got.

Yeah he got pretty good mileage he said. And it was a pretty comfy ride.

Oh that's good to know. I am pretty pumped.

Decisions, decisions, decisions......

So we are adding a day. We are going for three days now. What I need to decide is whether or not to add the day to the beginning of the trip or add it to the end.

If we add it to the beginning we enjoy a low crowd day. Which is a win win. I was looking at the historic crowds and on a scale of 1-10 Valentines Day will be a 3. A three sounds rather good. The 15th and the 16th are supposed to be a 1!! Talk about low crowds.

Now if I add the day to the end it means we go on the Friday of the holiday weekend. It is supposed to be a 6 and while that is busy I have been there on busier days. Like Presidents Day this year. But, my benefit for going that day is that it will be our payday and I can do my gift shopping that day giving me more money towards our trip.

But, I was thinking that if we add the extra day to the 14th we can still go gift shopping in DTD on Friday before leaving Anaheim for home. A win win I think.

Any opinions?

To me a 6 doesn't sound too bad. And I would rather have a bit of extra spending money I think. But that's just me! Lol.

I vote for the end, as 6 is not that bad and extra money for shopping

:thumbsup2

Well, if I decide to go ahead and get APs this is a mute point. I am really close to it. Then we will really have to make another trip.

I say just keeping adding days to the end of your trip, that way you'll still be there on the 23rd when I get there........ :lmao:
