We gave them a chance to say goodbye last night and neither girl could say goodbye. Kacy went and hid in the bathroom for 20 minutes and cried. Kody was all caviler and then this morning had her breakdown with me. Loren last night said goodbye and then went and got his comforter for her to lay on while we went to the vet. I wouldn't use it though but I was so deeply touched by it. We had another blanket to use. So now I am doing the arduous task of finding an appropriate puppy.

How about a lab or golden retriever? They are supposed to be some of the most loyal breeds, next to German Shepherds. Boxers are really nice too, but maybe they have more energy than the others.

I love all dogs so any breed would work with me. My sister had a golden when I was a teenager and I hate to say it but that dog was so stupid. Labs are great because they are so loyal and they stay so young. I do love Boxers. They are so cute and their energy is great. I am looking right now online to see what I can find. Most of what I find in chihuahuas and I am not a fan of them.

What are you guys doing for christmas?

Well, WBG has to work both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we aren't going to do much. We will have lasagna tomorrow night which is a tradition and on Christmas Day I am making ham, turkey, sweet potatoes, corn casserole, mashed potatoes with cheese with cookies for dessert.


We always open our presents from the family on Christmas Eve and sleep in on Christmas Day.

It's just the 4 of us this year. We let Grumpy decide what to do about Christmas dinner. He chose the Rainforest Cafe of all places. I'll make dinner Christmas Eve. It's tradition in our family to open one gift on Christmas Eve.
