How do I link my park ticket to my reservation?

Booked my room thru Expedia UK....I was told by a Cast Member at Disney that all I needed to do was buy a ticket thru Disney and then link it to my reservation so I could use my Magic Bands. I cannot figure out how to link it.
I have my confirmation number.

Sign on to your MyDisneyExperience.com account. Hover your mouse over 'MyDisneyExperience' and select 'My Reservations and Tickets' from the drop down list. If your tickets are not already linked, click on 'Link Tickets' and enter the will call confirmation number in the ID Number field.

I do not think it can be done with just the confirmation number. You would need the actual ticket and then enter the ticket code into your MDE account. It would be in the Tickets and Magic Bands section. You could also scan the ticket code with the mobile app.

Thanks tickets are now in my MDE. I am not using them for my 11/27 trip, but for my 12/12 trip....will I just link them to my MagicBands when that time comes?
Sorry this is my first time booking thru somewhere other than WDTravel Company. I already found out I cannot purchase the QSDP
