How do I know the daily schedule?

Each morning when I enter the parks, how do I know the daily schedule for that day like parade times, show times, closures, etc. Do they pass out a leaflet specified for that day? Isn't it on a board near the front of the park? I was wondering if I should print off the daily schedule from the website and bring it with me or if there will be something given to me there to carry around with all the info for that day. Thanks!

Right at the gates as you enter are maps and the schedule for the week. It has everything you need to know.

They have little leaflets at the turnstiles along with maps so you can plan your day :)

I just wanted to add that there is a different one for DL and for DCA. Each is available at the entrance to the respective park.

You can also often get both of them at City Hall (in DL) or Guest Relations (in DCA).

Is the Times Guide posted online? What information does it include that is not on the calendar posted on DLR website?

Custodial CMs also carry maps and guides.
-----------------------------------------
The name of the paper guide (according to itself) is "Your Key To the Magic", and "Entertainment Times Guide" is the front page section, but Disney often refers to the leaflet as "the Times Guide".

YKttM does contain listings that can't be found on a daily schedule of the online calendar. (However, if you look at other places on the web site, you might be able to find more times).

Examples include several meet 'n greet opportunities, performances at the Royal Theatre, and the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree Character Roundup.
----------------------------------------
Then, there are the "secret" happenings that aren't listed by Disney anywhere, like the Firehouse Show, afternoon castle show with Mary. Bert, and the Pearly Band ... they've been discussed here many times.

It is not but a lot of the info in the Times Guide is posted on the DLR calendar 4 weeks in advance. For those used to WDW and the WDW calendar, DLR posts a lot more secondary info online 4 weeks out than does WDW. And the secondary info is the primary purpose of the Times Guide since the primary shows and events are well publicized regardless.

OP. . . Sorry for hijacking your thread.

Hydroguy . . . Thanks for your help. I'm specifically trying to find schedules for shows at Royal Hall and the princesses at Fantasy Faire. Do they post these times online?

If I found these times today what are the chances they would be the same the first week of Mar?

This is a good source for Royal Hall:

This is the mobile version for DLR. It is very useful and easy to use. It is not an app.

Thanks for your help.

However, I'm trying to find specific show times/appearances for the princesses. My DD3 is obsessed with Belle and I've read on here that the best time to visit with Belle is at the conclusion of her final show of the day. I have not been successful in finding these times on DLR's website.

No. You cannot meet Belle after her final show - nor could you meet Flynn & Rapunzel. They meet with people who were inside the Royal Theatre during one of the first two shows and remained. No one else is let in - or back in.

So, a guaranteed way to meet Belle is to to show up outside the Royal Theatre in time to get in. Every time I have seen Beauty & the Beast performed, it's filled to capacity. People can watch from outside, but won't meet Belle.

Recently, since her three performances are later in the day, Belle has made some appearances earlier in the area - on the bridge/path that goes to the left side of the castle.

Belle even appears at the entrance to Disneyland occasionally, as do other princesses.

We were planning on attending the final show, not walk in when the show was over. How early should I get in line prior to final show? We will be there the first week of march which is slow season.

The other appearances that were mentioned are these random or are they published in the Times Guide?

Thanks for the input.

:confused3
The "no" still stands.

I thought I mentioned this to you elsewhere, but if you have questions, create a thread for them with a relevant and specific title. Then, people who know about the topic can see where they can give needed answers.

What perlster is saying (and quite clearly IMO) is that you can NOT meet Belle after her final show, whether you are in the theater or not. They don't do a meet & greet after the final show, so you'll have to see one of her other two to meet her. Rapunzel also does shows at the Royal Theater and the same thing - you can meet her & Flynn after the first two shows, but not her final. And yes, these times will be in the daily entertainment guide you can get at the entrance (or the other locations people have offered). As for other meet & greets, the times guide will give you general times, like Pixie Hollow is open from am-pm, but it won't give you specific characters you'll meet. You could ask the CM at the entrance or at City Hall.

Thanks for the clarification. I misread the comment about the first two shows b/c the last show was stuck in my head based on a thread I had read a while back. I found the old thread and turns out my memory failed me. Ironically Perlster had mentioned in that thread as well that it was the first two shows and NOT the last show.

Needless to say you saved me from a frustrating moment had I attended the last show as originally planned.
