Hi everyone,
How do I find out how many days are left on my passes? Can I go to the disney store or do I have to wait untill I reach the parks? I would like to buy tickets ahead if possible. Thanks

Unfortunately, the only way to learn how many days remain on a pass is to take it to Guest Services at one of the parks. They can scan the card and it will bring up the information for them.

The WDW resorts also have the ability to scan tickets. But as mad4themouse posted, the only way to find out the remaining days on a ticket is to have it scanned somehwere on site. There isn't an online or phone option, and even the Disney Stores cannot help with this.

I know this wont help you find out how many days you have on your current park passes but when we buy park hoppers I write on the back how many days used and how many plusses so when we get home I know how many passes and how many days I will need next trip.

Deena,
Yes, we always do that too. However....I left that up to my husband to do last year. To my surprise when I went to pull them out a week ago there wasn't anything on the back AARRGG!

There was back in the day an 800 number and a certain option you could call regarding this... apparently you could call the number and read off the magnetic strip numbers and it would tell you...

However, this was back in 1999/2000.

Sorry Mary......I think that would happen to me too if I left I left it to dh. Tell him next time your just gonna buy AP's so you only have to worry about the expiration date.:teeth:

Is their a Guest Services at Downtown Disney to check tickets? That will be my first stop when I get there.

Thanks

You should call the Disney store closest to you. I recently had the same problem and when I called Disney they said they were implementing a new program at the stores that would allow people to check the remaining days on there passes. This was a couple of months ago.

I called the Disney store here and they were just beginning to receive the equipment at that time. I haven't called back yet but I remember thinking at the time that it should be up and running before my trip in May. I can't remember the name of the program though, sorry. Barrie

I just called my local Disney Store, and they said they are installing new equipment and software. She said, the word is, they think ,they will be able to scan tickets in the near future. I think that would be great. Anyway, I think I have one day left on a 5 day hopper, should I use that day up? Or should I trade it in on a new hopper? Anybody?

Thanks

I would save the day. You never know when you will need a 1 day hopper. I have one day left on my passes and was going to use them when we go to the world next week but I'm glad we still have them. I just booked a cruise that has Port canaveral as a port and we will be going to WDW for the day and now we can use it to hop too!!
