How do I get to the hotel!

Soooo we're going to DISNEYLAND!!! YAY so excited, this is our first trip. We're going to stay offsite for the first two nights and then stay at the Disneyland Hotel for the last 4, so originally I thought I'll just book the Disneyland shuttle but then I realized I'm not going there at first, how do I get to an offsite hotel? We don't actually have one booked yet, but I'm thinking the Hojo, it seems to get good reviews and it should help offset the price of the Disneyland Hotel

Are you talking about the Disneyland Resort Express?
That bus company (not Disney owned) goes to most DL area hotels. Even the offsite ones.

We've used super shuttle three times now and haven't had a problem, we stay at Hojo too and love it!! http://www.supershuttle.com/

I have only been to DL once in the last few years and can't give much advice.
We took the Disneyland Resort Express in Feb. and had a horrible trip to DL, but a perfect trip back to LAX.

On our upcoming trip, we are flying into Orange County.
We've decided to take Super Shuttle instead. http://www.supershuttle.com/ They run large vans instead of buses.

That is not good to hear. I was thinking of using the DL Express for our trip in July. Can you elaborate on your horrible trip with them?

Sure! Love a chance to complain!

5 minutes after getting to the curb the bus arrived, that was perfect.
Then we spent quite a bit of time stopping to pick up others, this is normal and wasn't the problem.

Our driver was very annoying, he wouldn't stop talking.
I don't mind chatter, but his was more bragging than "tourist friendly".
Once again, this wasn't really the problem.

We get to the DL area and he gets us (my group) all excited, "almost there!", "you're hotel is right down this next street!".
And then he proceeded to drag us all over Anaheim dropping EVERYBODY else off first!
Why did he say those things to us? We had an 8 year old that thought we were "there".
By the time he finally dropped us off my poor dd was drooping
and not excited anymore.
Grand total, we were on that bus for well over 2 hours.

But the trip back was fantastic! Our driver was nice, quiet (but not rude) and got us there so quickly we were shocked.
So I don't think our first driver was the norm, maybe you'll do better if/when you use them?

Over 2 hours? That is not fun at all. Thanks for the info. I will probably look into using a different service now.

Just like the other poster's DD, nobody wants to watch everyone else get off and start having fun while you're still stuck on a big ol' bus.

So does that mean that the Disneyland Hotel is the first stop for the DL Express?
