How Do I Get to the DIS Club House?

Another dumb newbie question. *sigh*

I assume that a lot of the DISers hang out in the Club House or one of the DIS rooms accessible though the one of the Lobbies. I can't figure out how to find you! Do you need to be a "friend" first? I would like to start playing VMK, but overhearing all the other converstations and having people bug me for my green flip flops (which I picked in Beta 'cause they matched my skin) is getting a bit old.

Although many rooms are connected through the teleporter network (listed in sticky thread at top of page), not all the rooms that dis people hang out in are.

If you are new, the easiest way to find people is to search "dis" on the popular rooms list, as most people who are hosting dis people put it in the title. This works best in the evening.

Usually it helps to put a reference to dis in your signature. (Click the shirt tab and you can change your signature) Then introduce yourself as new when you meet some dis people. If you invite them to be friends, they will usually add you to their list. Then it becomes even easier to find people as you can see where they are on your friends list, or friends rooms on the room list.

There usually isn't one particular room that dis people hang out in, but if you look around you can find out where people are. I hope that helps.
