How do I get there from WDW

We are planning to stay at Beach Club Villas during the last week of February, spending time at both WDW and US/IOA.

We are not renting a car, so my question is this, what is the best way to get to Universal from the Beach Club?

Also, if I plan on one day at Universal/IOA, what should I include as "Not to be Missed"? Since the weather may be cool water rides/flumes may not be an option.

I always have a car, so can't tell you the best route. Some take Mears, some taxi, some call other shuttle services, some even rent a car.

From the hotel I was staying, it was a HEALTHY WALK, maybe 15 minutes.

As for the Not to miss things..

Spiderman, a first rate all around experience. It is amazing on the senses. , and well just it amazing technology

Hulk, one of the best coasters out there, the launch is amazing.

Dueling Dragons.. ok, I admit it, I am getting over a fear of dangling feet coasters... (one of the moderators on this board can tell you about it) but the theming is pretty cool just to see even if you chicken out.

Jurassic Park River Adventure, some say its tired, and dare I say, boring, but it is FUN... at least I think so, and my kids thought it was AWESOME..

The food at Mythos is NOT TO BE MISSED!


The water rides are very fun, but if you are going on a cool month, well, that might not be the best thing.


On to Universal Studios Florida

Men in Black! Very fun ride, top notch employees as well. (I have nothing but praise for the MIB employees)

Terminator 2 a fun combo of live action, 3D, and amazing effects. We love this show everytime we see it.

Horror Make Up Show, one of my personal favorites!

Back to the Future is fun, and intense. You will really go on a ride!

We will be doing this in Dec. We are taking Mears~$12 pp round trip from the BCV over to IOA. The taxi runs about $45 and the town car services run about $55. Mears is the cheapest unless you have more than 3 or 4 people. I'll let you know how it went!
