How do I get the view I want

We are staying at POR for the 1st 3 days of our trip...how do I request a water front view? I know I might not get it...but its just a thought.
All of our travel plans were done thru a TA...I dont think she added this request...

If you paid for a water view you can ask your TA to call and request that it be a view of the river instead of the pool and hopefully you will get it. If you paid for a standard view I think the best you can hope for is to inquire at check- in if they are giving any upgrades to water view. Hope this helps a little and good luck. If you paid for a waterview then you may get a view of the river or a quiet pool. If you didn't pay for the waterview just ask at check in if you could upgrade to a water view and see if they can.

we are doing 3 days land and 4 days sea...I dont know what we paid for...

My understanding is that all land/sea packages are for standard view rooms and are not upgradeable per the cruise line agreement with the hotels. So you're probably out of luck.
