How do I get the sticky off my floor?

My 2yo dd decided to get the tea out of the 'fridge & poor mommy a glass last night & of course it went all over the floor!
I used my swiffer mop - but it's still sticky this a.m.---how do I get it unsticky???

I swear by Windex. To me it always cuts through the "sticky" and trust me, we've had plenty of spills around here! Good luck!

Hot water with cleaner of your choice and some elbow grease- try a shower scrubber and an old bathtowel to wipe up afterwards. You might need to do a couple of times to get all of the sticky up. Swiffers are great for light-duty cleaning, but when it comes to icky messes they don't do the job.

I think there is some force field in the universe that if you spill even one drop of anything sticky it doesn't unstick until you have cleaned the entire floor. I just don't get it .

Hot water and whatever floor cleaner you use when you mop.

I guess I'm gonna have to break down & get a "real" mop....Boo hoo!
