How do I get reserves at Ralph Brennan's 8/25-8/28?

More specifically I am looking for a time around 7:30 P.M. on any day of that week. From what I understand, getting a dining reserve in DL is usually not as difficult as in DW,but for some reason I can't book other than what is on the Disney Dining options which is either 6:30 or 9 p.m.

I called reservations up and I was told all times slots that she can see are blocked out (not that the times slots are taken by guests) as far as she can see for all of August.

I know I am in the 60 day window period, so I just wanted to know if this has happened before, or do I just need to wait until we arrive and try to go in as a walk up?

Thanks

I find it hard to believe they'd be booked out that far in advance. DLR is REALLY not like WDW.

Try calling, but if you walked over on the first day you got there and tried to book for the last night you are going to be there I think you'd get close to the time slot you want. I don't think I've had a reservation 90% of the time I've dined there.

The Downtown Disney restaurants are NOT Disney owned. They only offer limited reservations through Disney Dining. Always best those restaurants directly (or use Open Table) to get better options. DTD also serves locals and convention goers who aren't hitting the parks.

Thanks for the link. Times bloacked out from 6:15 until 8 P.M. everyday. There is a phone number I will call. Thanks!

Well...8:00 is close enough to the 7:30 range, no?

Actually our flight gets into Long Beach about 5:30 P.M., so we planned on going as soon as we got in. If I can't get reserves, we'll walk over as you suggested.

If no option, then we have to, but I anticipated being there on the earlier side (like before 7:00 with a big appetite! LOL)
