How do I get into Epcot or catch the Monorail?

This may seem ignorant, but I'm a WDW newbie, and I can't find the answer to this?
This is my 1st time @WDW Resort, (BWV), and I've read many complaints about no direct access to Epcot entrance from BWV...so is the World Showcase open to walk through or how do I get to Future World in the am?
Also, is there a link to Monorail stops? I tried transportation here, but it has more history and general info; I'm looking for schedules or specific stops.

The International gateway will be open in the morning. So you can either take the boat or walk to the "back" entrance to Epcot, walk past UK and Canada into Future World.

Regarding the monorail, there are no scedules. There are three monorails.

On is the Epcot/TTC monorail which has stations at the front of Epcot and TTC ONLY. It runs every 10-15 minutes.

The other two circle the lake by MK. One is the express monorail which stops at MK and TTC ONLY. Runs every 10 minutes

The other is the resort monorail which stops at TTC, Poly, GF, MK, CR, and back to TTC. Runs every 10 minutes or so.
