How do I get in on a soft opening?

We will be at WDW from April 15-23. I am hoping to get into a soft opening/trial run for Soarin' and the new stunt show at MGM. Any hints on how to do this? Should I ask at Guest Relations at the park? Will having an AP help?

As far as I know it is just being at the right place at the right time, or word of mouth.

They usually have an AP preview event. Dates for that will be announced when we get closer to the opening. As for soft openings. It truly is just the right place at the right time. Asking doesn't really seem to get anyone anywhere. As of now, they haven't begun soft openings for either of the new attractions yet.
