How do I get DVC discount when booking stuff?

Stuff like tours or recreation (e.g. The carriage rides)....do you book these through DVC Member Services to get the discount?

When I booked a tour, I called the regular tour reservations line and had to give them my member number to get the discount.

Same here - book through regular phone line, tell them we're DVC/AP/Disney Visa as applicable, and they'll ask for whatever confirmation they need.

Just remember you may need to bring the DVC card with you to validate the discount. That's what I was told when I booked a tour recently. I need to show my ID and DVC member card when I check in for the tour.
