How do I get and what is a pin code?

Help, I'm reading all these great deals everyone is getting with this pin code and i'm lost, how do i get one and what are they?

I am booking a trip for sept 2009 with the free dining can i use a pin code too?
and how can get one? Or would using my pin code be cheaper than using the free dining, we did upgrade to the deluxe dining which was I think $11.00 more for 1 child and $32.00 more for my 2 daughters and me and my husband.

A PIN code is a special discount that disney sends out to people at various times of the year. There is no known reason why some people get the offer and others don't. But they are personalized, each code is for a particular person, so one person can't use anothers code.
If you have free dining then you could not also use a pin code to get a further discount. Disney only allows one discount per reservation. As to which is best, it all depends on what the pin code is for and where you are staying. If the pin code is for a 40% discount and you are staying at the GF, that would possibly be a better deal than getting the dining plan for free. However the same 40% off from one of the value resorts would possibly not save you as much money.
In order to get a pin code disney must know you exist, and since you have a reservation there, they must know about you. Now all you can do is wait and hope you get one. Then if you do, you need to do the math to see if it is worth it to you.
