How do I explain this to my parents?

Ok, so I know we can't do this, and I won't try, but help me figure out how to word it to my parents...They want to "give" me their AP discount for a room for our honeymoon. I've tried explaining that I would have to have an AP myself...but I'm not getting it through to them that one of them would have to stay in the room to get the rate. Help!

recommend that someone gets you your own AP!!!!

I would also mention to mom, that they can ask you for the AP at check-in and if you can not show them--they can charge you rack rate!!

While I'd like my own, while I'm finishing up grad school it's really not practical...I just don't have time to go! For some reason my teachers think I should be working on this thesis thing and not spending all my time planning a wedding and taking fun trips...I don't know what they're thinking. hehe

Good call on telling them about having to pay full price though.

Actually, they wouldn't have to be IN the room with you....just down the hall. AP holders can book up to 3 rooms on their AP.

Absolutely right. If they are going to be at WDW at all during your stay, they can get you an AP rate. If they're staying home tho, this would be a no go.

I don't have any advice I just wanted to give you ! I was planning my wedding while finishing up my masters and none of my profs seemed to understand how important it was that I go to cake tastings and check out 100 different samples of pink satin ribbon ( I had my mom and a wedding planner on my butt!) Good luck! I'm sure your schoolwork will be wonderful and your wedding will be beautiful!

Just talk to them honestly, they should understand
Seriously tho, my mom was all over my wedding and if I had not put my foot down, we would have been jammin to lawrence welk!
